About Me
My name is Nathan Prestopnik, and I am the web administrator for Morrisville State College, part of the State University of New York system. I have managed the web environment at Morrisville since June of 2006.I finished a Master of Science degree in New Media at Syracuse University in 2006, and prior to that I worked as a web and multimedia developer in Clifton Park, NY and Los Angeles, CA. I completed by undergraduate degrees in Television-Radio-Film Production and American History (also at Syracuse University) in May 2001.
In addition to working at Morrisville State College, I freelance on a variety of multimedia projects, including website design, graphic design, and 3D computer visualization. My work has been published in a variety of places, most recently in the November 2008 issue of 3D World Magazine.
In my spare time I enjoy reading (currently William T. Sherman's memoirs), writing, and playing music (I play Trumpet in the Morrisville College jazz band, and piano on my own). I also enjoy getting away from computers when I can to hike, canoe, and enjoy the great outdoors.
