Attendance is expected at all class sessions. Penalties procedures for not attending class stipulate that if you miss more than 3 (three) classes, for any reason, you may be asked to withdraw from the class or you may be given an automatic F.  Please note, if you are late for class, it is your responsibility to ensure that the instructor has marked you present in class at the end of that session. Your attendance for that day will be added; however, it will be noted as a Late Arrival.  The student should contact the instructor in advance when an absence is necessary.  The student is responsible for all material covered and assignments given when absent from class will still be due within the original homework due date.  (No homework extensions are granted due to class absence.)  You may e-mail instructor to get homework assigned for that day.   Class participation and discussions will be heavily considered in determining your final grade, as this is part of the learning process.

WebCT -- it is mandatory that you access WebCT for this course.  All Chapter assignments are included there as well as any homework assigned is also described.  You may access WebCt by going to Morrisville’s Homepage and clicking under “Current Student”.  At the drop down message, click on OnLine Learning.  Click on Login link at this next page and then key your normal username and password.  The other way you may access WebCT is by keying eclass.morrisville.edu from your Internet Explorer Address line.  Again, this brings you directly into the Login screen of WebCT.  Scroll down to the current semester and you’ll see a link for OFFT 120. Double click to open this link.  If you do not have access to WebCT, it is your responsibility to stop into the Instructional Communications office located in the basement of Charlton Hall, -- down the hall from the Help Desk (immediately next to the Radio Station).  Inform them that you are enrolled in the class and need access to WebCT.

Homework Assignments & Tests:  All assignments must be printed out PRIOR to arriving to class. No late assignments will be accepted, regardless of whether the student attends class or not.  No makeup tests will be given except in extraordinary circumstances as determined by the instructor. All homework and projects will be typewritten and neat. All problems will be completed on the computer unless otherwise instructed. Students are urged to see their instructor to discuss problems that may arise or to gain assistance with class work.

Homework “Redos”:  All homework assignments can be resubmitted; however, the resubmitted assignment must be 100% accurate in order for any additional points to be added to original grade.  (10 – 15 points can be added.)

Save lessons/assignments as many exercises build from previous assignment(s).

Assignments will not be accepted if they do not have the following heading.
