COURSE GOALS: 
This course is designed to familiarize the student with the fascination and intricate operations of the casino 
and gaming industry.  An in-depth investigation of the various games offered at the typical casino will be
covered.  An introduction to the history of the gaming industry from its inception to the present time will be
provided.  The student will become aware of the possible gaming trends and the phenomenal growth of
casino gaming.

 

COURSE OBJECTIVES:
Upon completion of this course, the student should be able to:

       1.  Develop important learning skills.
       2.  Understand the historical background of casino games.
       3.  Discuss the history of each game.
       4.  Understand the development of games.
       5.  Explain the current trends of games within a casino property.
       6.  Understand gaming motivation.
       7.  Understand the various gaming strategies.
       8.  Discuss the current trends in the gaming industry.
       9.  Have knowledge of the various games.
     10.  Develop an understanding of the past, present. and future of the games in the industry.
     11.  Work in a team atmosphere and evaluate oneself and others within that team.
