The Sabattis Silver Beaver weekend is the weekend after memorial day, when chronic adolescents get together to prepare the Sabattis Boy Scout Camp for the summer, before the scouts arrive. My own crew is the "Sabbattis Stevedores", who prepare the floating docks in the boating & swimming lake. Food is provided by local food vendors; soda pop, seltzer, Saratoga Vichy, and other carbonated beverages are brought by the participants themselves.
