Landscape Aesthetic

Agricultural Environment Management plays a very important role in protecting human as a natural resource.  Based on this concept landscape aesthetic of the farm stead becomes important.  To improve the aesthetics the following items are proposed to be implemented:

  1. Decorative bushes should be planted on both sides of the road from Eaton road to the free stall (See picture below).
  2. Pine trees should be planted between the Free stall and field W4-5.
  3. Annual and Perenial flowers should be planted behind the offices
  4. All of the paddocks of Pasture land should be fertilized based on soil tests conducted each year.  Urea fertilizer should be applied in each paddock 3 times (spring, summer, and fall) each year.  The paddocks should be mowed during the rest period to keep the pastures in good shape.
  5. The paddock in front of the Free stall (the one which is built to contain rain water from 25 year - 24 hour rain storm event) should be sprayed with 2,4 D if needed to keep it clean from broad leaf weeds. This should probably be treated as a decorative lawn for the facility.
